The PSU scandal has rocked the very foundation of what once was a school that stood above others. Penn State's football program tagline has long been "Sucess with Honor". Recovering from these charges will be a difficult, if not impossible task.
Still amid the scandal, the sadness and the questions the true strength of the human spirit shines through. The outcry of support for abuse victims has come from Penn State, as well as other college universities, is indescribable. During the Nebraska-PSU game a few weeks ago, every person on the sidelines joined in the center of the field and knelt in prayer.

We had a great time shooting the Bresee family portraits in early November. I've known Matt for 2 years ever since my company became the official photographers for the Erie Bayhawks. When he asked me last month to take photos of his family I was really excited, but between my schedule, his schedule and his wife's schedule it was tough to coordinate.
Erie provided alot of challenges in October, most notably was the crazy amount of rain we got. Two seperate times we had to cancel the shoot with Matt and his family because it felt more like monsoon season rather than the tail end of fall.

We had a really difficult time getting Tony and Emma's engagement photos shot thanks to the Erie weather! The first day we tried, it had been raining for 4 days straight, and Wintergreen Gorge, where they wanted to take the photos, was a complete mudpit. So we rescheduled to the following Wednesday.
I was really anticipating some good weather, but on Wednesday when we arrived at Wintergreen Gorge it started to pour! I started to feel like we were never going to get these engagement photos shot!

Tom and Ashley are getting married in 2012, but they really wanted fall leaves for their engagement photos. Between my busy schedule and theirs, we only could find one date available, the 23rd of October, so I was praying for good weather...
